Everytime I fall for a product, I feel compelled to share it with you guys! And my latest love is no exception to the rule. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across Dr. Bronner’s castile soap, and to be honest, I really didn’t know what it was, but as I continue to move toward safer beauty products, I found myself stumbling across this familiar looking bottle once again, while browsing the aisles of Whole Foods. So, I decided to give it a try..
I’m usually not one for “all in one” products because I like products with a focus. I have a difficult time believing that the same product can be an awesome body wash, shaving cream, clothing detergent, etc., but this brightly colored bottle proved me wrong. I first fell in love with this product as a body wash before I equally fell in love with it as a shaving cream. Not only does it save me time, but I have to admit, it saves me a little bit of money, especially since I opt to purchase these lovelies at Harmons Beauty Stores where they are slightly less than other places.
They come is sooo many different scents spanning from lavendar, which is one of my favorites, to almond, tea tree, peppermint, citrus (shown), and so on and so forth. You can purchase the soap in liquid or bar form, both are equally as awesome, but I always want to give you guys my honest opinion, and while I love to use the liquid soap as a body wash, bubble bath, shaving soap, and sometimes detergent for delicates I am hand washing, I do not like to wash my hair with it. My hair is color treated and I’m funny about what types of shampoo and conditioner I’ll use, but did I mention.. I even use this to bathe Tyson??!! Yep, I use the baby formula on him, and it makes his coat look A-mazing.
See the side panel of the bottle for even more uses. These products are made with safe ingredients without any harsh detergents and they won’t strip your skin of its moisture. I even used this as a face wash after forgeting my usual cleanser when I traveled to Chicago, and it was extremely gentle on my skin. Needless to say, these products are now a staple in my shower and in my house!
