Good morning! Thankfully we’ve hit the middle of the week because I’m already looking forward to the weekend. Although we’re supposed to get even more rain.. I don’t know how people in Seattle do it. Rain has a way of stripping away my motivation, but I’m fighting back hard, not to let that happen. So, last night I was super proud of myself because I actually worked out hard, on my own, in my home gym. Yep, I put my big girl panties on, and plowed through a grueling workout. By the time I was done, I felt weak, faint, light headed, and sweaty.. And I came close to burning 500 calories. I almost never work out at home and ironically, the gym in my house, was probably one of the first rooms I finished furnishing. When I initially moved here, I thought I would die without a treadmill, then I was convinced I couldn’t use the treadmill without a television, otherwise I would die, and so one and so forth. I really should work out more at home, on rainy days like today. It was so nice not to have to go out in this weather. I think this weekend, I’ll take a ride over to a place a friend of mine was telling me about, and look at some machines for my gym. I have a treadmill, full set of weights, bands, balls.. all the usual suspects, then there is the bench, of course, my race bike which is hooked up to a stationary stand, so I can use it to spin, but I don’t have one of those machines that does it all, and I want one of those, so I’m going to look into that, and maybe a water rower, but I’m not 100% sure because I started using the bike in lieu of the rower because I was getting lower back spasms.. And I’m rambling..
Anyway, who watches “This is Us??” OMG! I love this show.. everyone has been telling me about it for the longest time, but I wasn’t really in the mood to start it, and then suddenly I began watching it a few nights ago, and I can’t stop! I love it!!! It’s funny, witty, ironic, realistic, and so totally awesome! I’m up to eposide five, but don’t you worry, I’ll have the full season under my belt before the week is through. I watch shows at warp speed.. And I seriously love every character which is highly unusual, but I was bummed to see that Jack is gone, and Rebecca is now with Miguel.. And I wish Kate would feel better about herself because she is super awesome and beautiful, and I love her and Toby together.. they are hysterical and I loved the scene where Kate tells Toby she is going to be working for his ex wife, that is such a great scene, Toby makes it incredibly funny, but also heart wrenching when he talks about how mean his ex wife was to him. Oh well, I’ll have to catch up on the rest of the season, so my friend Kristen and I can chat about it now that Homeland is over, and Quinner is dead!
Now it’s shake time, and I’m in love with this shake. It’s like a creamsicle times ten. It tastes amazing, almost like words can’t even begin to describe how yummy this smoothie is. It smells and tastes like heaven. You have to try it because your life sucks without it. Sorry to be so harsh, but I can’t empasize enough, just how unbelievably lucious, this is.
